Who we are

Seekho365 is a practice tool for CBSE Class 9 students, run as the Data Fiduciary for the information described below. For any privacy question or request, contact hello@seekho365.com.

Parents hold the account; children do not register

Only a parent or legal guardian creates an account, using their own email address. Children never sign up and we never ask a child for their real name, email, phone number, date of birth, or any other identifying detail. A parent adds each child as a learner profile: an alias (a nickname of the parent's choosing) and a class. This is deliberate data minimisation.

What we collect

• From the parent: name, email address, and password (stored only as a secure hash).
• For each child learner: the alias and class you enter, a short practice PIN (stored as a secure hash), and practice activity such as questions attempted, answers, scores, streaks, and XP.
• Technical: standard security data such as login timestamps and, if you choose "trust this device", a device token used only to keep you signed in and to protect the account.

Why we collect it

To run the practice sessions, show progress and streaks, and let the parent monitor how their child is doing. That's all. We do not show advertising, we do not track children for marketing, and we do not build behavioural profiles or sell data.

Parental consent

When a parent creates an account they confirm they are the child's parent or guardian and consent to us processing the child's practice data as described here. We record the date and the version of this notice you agreed to. You can withdraw consent at any time by deleting the learner or your account (see below).

Your rights

You can access and correct your information from the account area at any time. You can delete a child's profile (which erases their practice data) or your whole account (which erases you and all your children's profiles). Both take effect immediately. Retention & security

We keep data only while your account is active. Passwords and PINs are stored as hashes, traffic is served over HTTPS, and access is restricted. When you delete a learner or your account, the associated data is removed from the live database.

Changes

If we materially change this notice we'll update the version above and ask for fresh consent where required.
